Former Real Madrid right-back, Álvaro Arbeloa, has criticized the officiating of the Supercopa de Espana first leg at the Camp Nou and suggested that referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea was favouring the Catalan side.
Real Madrid won the first leg of the Supercopa de Espana at the Camp Nou on Sunday evening’s and they did so in spite of a couple of controversial decisions given against them.
But Arbeloa commenting on his Twitter account, said, “Not even with 12 [can Barcelona win].”
“One day yes and another as well against Barcelona.
“They are laughing in our face, it’s appalling,” he said.
“Having seen this, we could make the most of it and play for the Bernabeu Trophy on Wednesday, no?” he concluded.
The second leg takes place on Wednesday night, with kick-off at 23:00 CET.
