Chelsea have announced the signing of Spanish striker Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid in a £70m deal.
The Spaniard signed a five-year contract with Chelsea and will now fly out to the United States to join up with his new team-mates.
He becomes Chelsea’s most expensive signing, with the transfer fee surpassing the £49.73m they paid Liverpool for Fernando Torres in 2011.
He arrived in London on Thursday to complete a medical at the Premier League club.
