The beautiful ladies you see above were all born male. They are transgenders contesting in the Miss Tiffany’s Universe Transgender pageant which holds in Thailand on May 8th.
The beauty pageant which started
in 1998 is open to Thailand transgenders that are between 18 and 25 years.
The pageant is very competitive and comes with a cash prize of £2,300 which is more than the average salary in Thailand and a car. Organisers of the pageant say they hope to use the contest to break the stigma associated with many transgenders.
